  • My grandma just got a kindle and hers says it has built in wifi and can get on the internet. But from what I understand they can't get on websites that are too complicated.... not 100% sure what all the restrictions are though.

  • I can get on the internet with my Kindle but it is very slow and often freezes up when I do. It may just be the particular model I have.

  • According to the tech specs for the Nook Color, it can. I haven't tried it though.

  • I thinks so for both. I have a Nook first edition and never tried it. I got it to read not surf the net. My computer and phone does that good enough. The newest Nook is the Nook Simple Touch and it is strictly ereader only.
