I had a son born prematurely at 32wks gestation, he has a large tongue but doctors don't seem to have an answer for it so far. Does anyone know what this can be a symptom of?

  • It is a rare anomoly so they likely need to refer you to a specialist. I would get to a genetic specialist if possible and would do a thorough search of the medical literature. It isn't necessarily problematic but it may be a sign of something you will want to be informed about.
