need feedback

DS will be 2 on jan 14. we have been tossing around ideas and heres what we are thinking:

i called this place who does costume characters and it is 115 for frosty the snow man to come out for and hr with giftbags ballons animals and face painting.. and i was gona have kids do color sheets of snow man and maybe a pinata or a pin the nose on the snow man game

for snack i was gona have snow man arms (pretzel sticks) noses (carrots) eyes (cherries) and buttons (raisins)

i dk what to do for lunch bf wants to grill burgers and hot dogs in garage we live in mn

if its nice out the kids can play in the snow

feedback and ideas plz

  • For lunch you can also buy Flat Bread, sauce, cheeses, olives, mushrooms & pepperonis. Have the kids make their own pizzas. It's a lot of fun for everyone & they can be creative with them.

  • What a great idea! For cake, instead of (or in addition to,), you can make cupcakes and put vanilla frosting and coconut on them so they look a bit like snow balls, or even put each cupcake on a plate and frost the whole thing with vanilla frosting and coconut so they look even more like snowballs.

  • We live in SD here and when we get the urge to grill-we just go outside and grill! Yep, it's cold but nothing beats burgers, and such off the grill!!! Sounds like you have a great idea planned!

  • Whoa. Elaborate. And the costume character thing is expensive! I have no idea what to do for my son's 2nd birthday. We don't have a lot of social activities so I have no idea who to invite. Anyhow, how about going to a child's playplace?
