  • feeding the animals, matching socks, picking up their toys, cleaning their rooms....depends on their age. When they are older---garbage,dishes,etc. Im home a lot,so I just usually make them do their homework, and keep their rooms tidy. They like to help me do basic stuff in the garden or with the pets as well. I hate cleaning,I have a cleaning lady that comes 1-2 times a week for the deeper cleaning and whatever. As long as my kids help out a bit, stay humble and make great grades and stay active,im satisfied.

  • Ours are 6, 9 &10 and we have a chore chart. Bagging up and taking out the trash (our older two), setting and clearing the table, washing and drying the dishes, sorting the clothes between colors and whites, loading and starting the washer, emptying the dryer, vacuuming their rooms and the dining and living rooms. As far as cleaning their rooms, I don't really consider that a chore but more of a responsibility. And believe it or not, they actually do really well with it with the exception of the occasional whining of "Do I have to" lol.
