What can be the cause of lower right abdominal pain after a hysterectomy?

I had an abdominal hysterectomy with preservation of ovaries 3 1/2 months ago. I have been constipated but suspect that this can be caused by adhesions though my gynecologist thinks that this is due to galbladder problems.

  • Gal stones can be found easily with a sonogram (the same they use to look at a baby). I had a hysterectomy and had discomfort b/c of them blowing up my tummy. I also had gal bladder surgery too. Feel free to PM me if you have other questions....GL & HNY

  • I would guess scar tissue/adhesions. I have that problem from my hysterctomy.
