I need a little info.

I was bit by a spider on my knee last night. I am currently on antibiotics. Should the antibiotics I am taking help with the infection from the spider bite? If it helps, I was bit by a brown recluse. Please help me so I can stop worrying.

  • Definelty go to the doctor! Brown recluses are very poisonous and the infection can spread.

Brown recluses can cause serious damage. I have a small scar on my shoulder (it was much bigger when i was younger) where they had to cut out part of my shoulder where I was bit. My SO also has a hole in his leg from a bite, where they had to do multiple skin graphs to make it look semi normal again.

  • I don't think a spider bite can show infection that fast. It's probably a reaction to the bite. You need to go to the doc
