  • It should clear up on it's own after a couple of days.
Other than that, rice cereal can help and make sure he stays hydrated. If he doesn't want to drink milk, get pedialyte into him. Not water, not juice... pedialyte.

  • Keep giving him his formula or breastmilk. Don't give him anything else unless you had started him on cereal...that may help bulk him up (but if not giving it already, don't start until he's cleared up!)

Water, juice and pedialyte can make it worse. (the sugar in juice and pedialyte tend to make diarrhea worse)

Watch him for dehydration...make sure his mouth is still moist, he tears when he cries and that his skin is still supple. If any of those things change, call your pediatrician. him anyway! That's what he's there for! Any time you have concerns, give a call!

  • Just make sure to keep him hydrated and Pedialyte is number one recommended for babies and toddlers for cases like this! So you may just have to wait it out... diareahh is NO fun... but it might just need to run its course! But you need to make sure you keep him hydrated...

  • make his formula with pedialyte...make sure he doesnt get too high of a fever and let it run its course.
