  • There has been opposing views on the benefits of coconut oil. The most recent I've heard is it IS a healthy alternative to vegetable oil when cooking. I cooked fried chicken in it one time years ago and my husband said it was the best fried chicken he'd ever eaten. I use it on my hands & feet, as I recently read that it is one oil that actually penetrates the subcutaneous layer of the skin and helps with severe dryness. It's a little oily at first, but absorbs pretty quickly. I don't know anything about Hemp oil. You might try "googling" both and see what you can find out.

  • coconut oil is very high in fat, so should be used in moderation. I don't now anything about hemp oil though.
