going rate for babysitter?

what's the going rate for a babysitter these days? I have a 7 year old, 4 year old, and 10 month old. Thanks.

  • Between $10 and 13 an hour. Sometimes you can cut a good deal if you find someone regular to help out, but generally for the night, it's 10 -13.

  • OH, BTW, they shouldn't be charging you for each child. It's $ 10- $13 per hour for the job, not the child.
