Bye Bye Nick!?

(current event)

you should read this first. Anyway, it looks like some people may lose their channels. Do you think this is fair to consumers that already pay for these channels? I think that my area is safe, but I would be pretty upset if I lost Nick! I like watching Dora in the mornings with my son. He sings and dances along with it, just so cute!

  • I saw that! I am so pissed b/c I just signed up for 2 yrs of internet with them and now I may have to switch my cable company.

  • So, does this mean that it only affects you if you get your cable service from Time Warner? Because I get my cable from Charter Communications but there is a message currently scrolling at the bottom of Noggin right now talking about this...I'm calling my cable company...LOL!

  • I'm not 100% sure. We get ours through Suddenlink. But I dont think so... Gosh I hope not!

  • Just got off the phone with my cable company...doesn't affect me...I get to keep my Noggin and my Daily Show! Yay for Charter Communications!

  • I do have it scrolling on mine but it says for Time Warner customers and Bright House Networks.

  • I just saw the ticker on that this AM. I am on hold with them right now to find out what's up but may have to change to DISH if they can't get this fixed. Nick, Noggin, VH1 Classisc and Comedy Central are the most watched channels in my house and we won't be w/o them for long.

  • I don't have Time Warner so I don't think is will make us face unfair and unwanted changes. Has anyone called? What happened?

  • Doesn't affect me...I don't watch television. We have a t.v. downstarirs in the office and only get used for watching college football or some other event we are interested in. So I don't depend on television for my entertainment or my child's.

  • If this was happening to Cox, then I would have a good excuse to cancel cable.
