What do you consider a young parent?

DS started kindergarten last week and just like at his preschool, DH and i are the youngest parents in DS class by at least 10 years. I'll turn 30 soon and don't feel like a young parent, but compared to others around me i certainly am.

I consider young to be haven't had a chance to get HS diploma or GED by the day the baby is born (just my personal definition)

I'm going through this too. I just turned 30, dh is 31. I was one of the youngest moms at DD's preschool. I also feel like I'm one of the youngest moms at her primary school. All of the moms are/were at least 5 years older, sometimes more. I myself consider a young mom to be any mom under the age of 20. But hey, I guess I'm wrong, lol.

teens and early 20's. im a young mom.when i turned 17my daughter was born 2 weeks later. no offense to older moms but i think 30's are kinda old, even though i want kid until my body cant have any more!!!! lol. atleast for now.... maybe ill change my mind when i dont have just 1 lol.

i was 23 when i had my beautiful son and don't think i am a young parent. i think if the person is responsible, financially stable in a loving relationship and ready to start a family then why not? young parents for me are under 20
