How can I fix this Chili

My chili came out spicier than I wanted how can I tone it down some..

  • this will sound crazy as heck but add 1 or 2 hershey's kisses (depending on how big a batch you made) same principle as the one that said add sugar but the flavor is less "sugar sweet" and the chocolate will help tone down the heat

  • actually the tomato based stuff can make it spicier because of the acid. try some very finely chopped celery, it will absorb the "heat".don't worry it happens to all of us lol.

  • When I make the chili too hot, I add rice or cut up potatoes to it as well as sugar (I personally like the brown in it). All of them help counteract/spread the heat out.

  • i agree add potatoes, if you dont want them in there, cut them up BIG so you can pull em out easy, celery is a good idea too.
