What nursing pads are the best?

I have tried several different kinds and so far they all make me itch! Johnsons, Avent, and Lansinoh. Are there any other brands?

  • I had the same problem. Lansinoh was terrible!!! I used the Gerber thin pads and they are great. My only suggestion would be to change them frequently, or has often as you have to because they can leak if you don't.

  • Have you considered Lily pads? They are reusuable silicon pads that stick to the breast and seal the breast so it does not leak. I purchased my set at Motherhood Maternity. You can even wear them swimming! Or you could use reusuable cotton ones that are washable.

  • I use curity, they are the cheapest and they don't make me itch. Gerber also has some that aren't too itchy, but I always leaked with the gerber ones.

  • I like Johnson's but if those brands are all itching you, I'd suggest cloth breast pads.
