  • I had a live in nanny but she didnt do the cleaning other then the obvious (putting dishes in sink, dirty clothes in the dirty clothes, picking up toys they played with etc) and she got free food, free room & board and $175 a week. For doing everything I am not sure. I know my moms maid charges $75 a day to clean her house.

  • Are you the Nanny--is that the problem? Are you trying to get your son to understand that you do a lot for him and his son!!!

  • Maybe you and another mom can car pool and trade off on play dates. Maybe putting your child in activities like ballet or tumbling too. I use those ideas sometimes as well. I dont know how much to charge a nanny, but I would bet a pretty expensive rate since she'd be doing a lot. Some people offer free room and board to take care of the children. I just have a p/t house cleaner for $10 an hour, and she only works for 2 hours. The nanny is $15 an hour, for two hours. They both only come about 2 times a week.

  • Around here you can get a nanny/light house cleaner for $350 a month plus room and board. That's about average. I think it depends on where you live.
