  • I'd tell him if your hungry I'll feed you but no cookies, cookies don't make tummy aches go away.

  • He had dinner so he is not hungry and he also had some grapes a little while ago. Now he is saying that he is going to cough without a cookie. WTF little manipulator already LOL

  • I think its a stage that they go through, as long as you don't give in he will eventually get the idea mom said no.

  • Tell him, "Oh, you have a tummy ache? Let me get you some medicine." THen get a dropper of somethingy (harmless) yucky and squirt it in his mouth! He'll stop telling you he's sick :) Maybe lemon jucie? Then tell him if he's not really sick, and just wants a cookie that he should ask nicely then tell him what he should say.

  • Lol, my daughter who is 3 does things like that. She actually asks for her medicine (its the childrens acetametophine bubble gum flavor) just when she wants a snack, "mommy i got a cough, 'cough cough' I need medicine" lol, I dont' give in of course, she only gets it for fevers...but she'll also say she's full then say "mommy im hungry, i want a cookie" and I'll just tell her oh well if you're still hungry eat whats on your plate and she'll come back with "im not hungry, im just kidding" lol, it cracks me up. kids at this age can be pretty funny, they are right at that age of being smart enough to come up with things on their own, but still young enough I find it cute :) I love it even though she can be a handful with that little wit of hers.
