  • I am at home tonight because my son is only 5 months old and i think he is to young to be away from home over night with family.... Plus i rather spend new years at home with him then out at some bar or something.... to me it is more important to be at home then out.... I can wait til next year to go out when he is alittle older

  • I am home b/c I refuse to go out after dark on NYE. I don't have one reason to go anywhere. I have lots of reasons to stay in my nice warm home: My 3 wonderful kids, my wonderful SO, etc etc.

    OP: congrats and GL!

  • We have always spent New Years at home, but then again we are always home bodies. I would rather be at home with my family on a special night, then out partying without them.

  • I'm home because I am 32 weeks, and upset with DH. I'd rather be home with my kids than with my IL's.

  • I want to be at home. For me, I would only consider celebrating New Years Eve if it was on a hot summer's night. Otherwise, I don't like be out anywhere on a cold night when I could be sitting comfortably at home. I think of the total New Year's Eves I have seen, I probably have been out about five times!
