When kids start losing there teeth?

I have a 5 year old and he has a lose tooth, i am worried cause i thought kids never lost teeth til they were like 8 years old. so when did your kids start losing there teeth?

  • i started losing my teeth at 5. my brother and cousin too. By 9 i lost about 8-10

  • thanks ladies, i was startin to freak out cause my son just turned 5 last month and he has a lose tooth and we thought he got hit in the mouth or something. we are still going to get him an appt with the dentist just to make sure cause its really loose.

  • Some are earlier tooth losers than others. My daughter's dentist said that if they got teeth early they will lose them early and if they got them late they'll lose them late. My daughter is 8 and had two teeth pulled about a year ago because the permanent teeth came in behind them and the baby teeth were pushing them back too far. She hasn't lost any more since then. She got teeth late, I thought she'd never get teeth! lol

  • My son started losing his teeth at 5 he is almost 8 now and has lost 4 or 5 teeth already. He started getting is teeth in at 4mths.
