Playtex drop-ins

Am I supposed to squeeze all the air out first? I have been using Medela bottles but DS decided be likes the Playtex nipple better...

  • You can but you don't have to. It keeps the air out and you can buy a playtex bottle that has a tab on the side that makes it easier for pushing up the air when your fingers no longer reach.

  • You can usually just buy the nipples.
I think drop ins are too much of a hassle, and cost too much in the long run.

  • You can buy the nipples and put them in the medela bottles :o]

I tried the playtex bottle with my daughter just this morning, she HATED it. So we used a medela nipple and she's just fine. I think the playtex one was just a little too hard for her, I'm not sure : /

  • The medela bottles are too small :(. I think I have an avent one kicking around somewhere though...maybe I'll give it a shot.
