Can i move a couch at 4 months pregnant?

My DH wants me to move the couch but i keep telling him that i shouldnt be moving heavy things. what do you all think?

  • No definately not!!!!!!I've had miscarriages for doing a lot less than that. There's a reason doctors say not too. I did help when we moved with my last daughter but I was a lot further along and still didn't pick up anything to strenuous.

  • WELL I HAVE MOVED HEAVY STUFF MYSELF DOESNT IT DEPEND ON RESISTANCE OF YOUR BODY? I DONT KNOW CAUSE I HAVE MOVED HEAVY STUFF AND EVERYTHING IS FINE, THIS IS MY FIRST BABY BY THE WAY

  • I guess you could if you put those furniture sliders under the legs, but that means you have to lift the side of the couch a bit to put the sliders underneath. I would ask him to do it.

  • I moved furniture through both of my pregnancies. I also lift and carry adult patients at work. There is no weight limit when you are pregnant, it just depends on what you did before you got pregnant and your body.
