Does bacon go bad?

Bacon has been kept at recommended 37 degrees or cooler, but exp date has passed

It's bad when it turns brown. If it's not brown just smell it.

I would say yes.. unless it was frozen than it's fine.

thats why its an expiration date. like any meat, it can go bad. if its more than a week, toss it, opened or not. next time, you can freeze bacon if you dont open it before exp date

It is still good. Since it has been kept at that degree then 6 months from the exp date is the date I would go by.

mmm, expired bacon? nah, I'd toss it. I don't take chances with meat. Dairy products, bread, some other stuff, sure, but not meat. Don't eat it.

Has it been opened or is it still in the original package? And by 37 degrees is that frozen? Sorry brain fart. :) I had bacon that I had opened and put in a zip lock bag... it actually molded within 10 days. So I would say if it smells odd or has any discoloration, just toss it.
