Is it bad to have the tv on when my baby is asleep?

My baby sleeps in my room, but iusually watch a bit of tv before i fall asleep...he is well asleep while it's on...will this affect him?

  • the more noise you have on now.....the better...i can vaccum in my ds room and him not wake up

  • Boy I hope not! Lol I slept with the tv on with all my kids as babies! I think it's fine and I used it basically as a night light so I could see and not blind myself if they woke up.

  • No it's jussst fine :) My 4mo DD sleeps with her bassinet next to my bed and I leave the tv on the light classical station when I go to bed so we have tunes and so I can see when she wakes up to nurse! It's wonderful :)
