Toast!?

Is toast something healthy to eat in the morning?

  • whole wheat doesn't mean whole grain. I would say if the bread is whole grain then yes it can be a good choice as part of a balanced diet

  • toast and some grapefruit. Prolly the best breakfast you could give yourself.

  • Make sure the first ingredient says whole wheat flour and not anything enriched. Any fruit in the morning would be a great addition.

  • Yes, wheat with about 1 TBSP. of peanut butter---fills you up and you can get good vitamins.

  • Yes, I like to eat whole grain or sometimes whole wheat toast with a little peanut butter and a teaspoon or so of honey (honey adds more calories and natural sugars but it's extremely healthy for you) with a glass of lowfat milk. The peanut butter gives you protein, the bread gives you carbs, and the milk is dairy. Add in a piece of fruit and you're set!
