I'm 38 weeks I'm getting tighting in my stomach what does that mean? and real bad cramps I'm in bed right now cause it hurts to walk.

  • It sounds like labor. It might be a good idea to call your ob or delivery center? Please let us know what happens?

  • Start timing your contractions and see how close together they are. If they are close, within 7 minutes and are in a pattern then I would call your doc. If they go away when you change positions or empty your bladder then they aer just braxton hicks

  • Sounds like contractions to me. When I was in labor with my son, my stomach would tighten and I would get cramps. Start timing them and see how close they are. To time them, start your timer at the beginning of a contraction. Then stop timing when the next one starts. If they are between 5-10 minutes apart, call your doctor!

  • I have there going away now but I've been losing my mucus plug since last week and alot has came out I thought I would be finished by now how much is suppose to come out?

  • I felt this pain November 9th 2008 I was 21 weeks pregnant. I was in labor!! I suggest you go to the nearest hospital. Also I know this may be too much info but sometimes it feels like you have to do number 2 but its really labor!!
