TMI! help

Can I take fiber therapy?? Its a target generic brand of laxative/ dietary supplement.... I can't poop TMI... I'm calling the doc tomorrow...

  • The Target brand fiber is fine, just don't rely on it all the time. It could still take 12-24 hours, though and drink lots of water with it.

  • i dont think you can... i wouldnt test it.. try to eat something with fiber.. or drink lots of water

  • You can take extra fiber if you need, but extra roughage is better---broccoli, spinach, etc.

  • I have that prob sometimes when i forget to take my vitamins but like 2 hrs after I take them I'm good to go!!!Try eating something like prunes or juice.

  • My doctor has allowed *stool softeners* only. Products like Dulcolax. They actually recommended buying some after baby is born since the first few BMs can be uncomfortable.

  • You can take citracel. Thats what I took. Doctor said it was fine.

  • I would take something like benefiber before taking a laxative or a detox program.

  • Laxatives are not good, but fiber is ok! Just ask your doctor before taking a synthetic substitute (like Benefiber, my choice!) to make sure it's ok for YOU. Otherwise, try to add fiber to your diet through more natural means. And water is your best friend!
