Why is Korean rice so sweet. Is it the rice or is something being added in the cooker?

  • Have you made it yourself and found it sweet? or only had it in a restaurant? Could be just what they put in the steamer when they make it if it's at a restaurant. If it's home made from dried rice check the label to see if they added sugar in the drying process.
