When Anna Duggar wrote to Josh Duggar as he was awaiting sentencing for his federal conviction of possessing child sexual abuse material, she probably didn’t think her emails would eventually be available to the public. But now, they have been shared all over social media, including TikTok and Reddit, even if the emails she sent him are from 2022.

The Internet, well people on the internet, don’t care how old the emails are. What they care about is the fact that Anna seems to share Josh’s parents, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, in some of the emails. Elsewhere, Josh wrote to his parents with more anger than people have seen publicly of the former 19 Kids and Counting star. And really, the hits just keep coming.

Anna told Josh to forget about being a Duggar.

The timeline is pretty important here. The emails that have been released on social media are from the time between Josh’s time in county jail and the start of his 151-month federal prison sentence. At the time, it seems, Anna and Josh had both soured on his parents. Jim Bob and Michelle released statements about their son’s conviction and they put up a united front publicly. But, behind the scenes, it sounds like there was some animosity between Josh and Anna and his parents.

“I hope you will come to a place where you can understand that God created you in HIS image,” Anna wrote to Josh. “Let go of being a ‘Duggar’ and whatever that means in your mind. Focus on how amazing the God who created the universe is. He created you. He has a plan for your life. He promises if you need wisdom, ask for it, and he will give it generously! Learn to hear his voice! The voices of your dad, your brother-in-laws, and your siblings have been primarily negative since you were 10 years old.”

When this bit was shared on TikTok, users commented that they didn’t realize before how much negativity was swirling in the family, primarily around Josh.

“This is crazy seeing Anna diss the family?!” Someone wrote.

Another added, “My takeaway from this is actually quite positive of the Duggars. They tried to hold him accountable and he didn’t like it.”

She also said it’s a “dead end road” to please Jim Bob.

Anna also wrote in her emails to Joshy (throw back to ‘Joshy Girl’ for the real ones), she told her husband that it’s essentially pointless to try and please Jim Bob.

“You are striving so much to please your dad. It’s a dead-end road,” Anna wrote. “And you keep trying.”

She also told her incarcerated husband that she was tired of being anything “less than perfection” for Jim Bob and Michelle while living in their home. And, she wrote to Josh, she was done with trying to hard herself.

“I’m just want to be done. Done being hurt. Done being judged. Done with being pounded on for everything [I] do,” she wrote. “The constant judging, the constant critiquing all happens while I’m making their dinner, washing their laundry, mopping their floors and doing their dishes.”

Spoiler alert: Anna has not come out to publicly turn her back on her in-laws since these emails.

Josh also accused Jim Bob of turning Anna against him.

There really was some family drama going on behind the scenes before Josh began to serve his federal prison sentence that no one else knew about. In hindsight, it seems like Josh and Anna wanted to go against his parents because of what they saw from his behavior, but in the end, Anna is still in contact with her in-laws and she still seems to depend on them financially.

In one of the Reddit threads about the emails, though, Josh did openly accuse Jim Bob of how Jim Bob and Michelle were portraying him to his own wife.

“Anna told me you said something about that it’s over, move on and accept it or something like that,” Josh wrote. “If you can please accept as it is meant, please don’t discourage my wife from defending my case and please don’t discuss it with her if you are going to discourage her or accuse me. I have clearly maintained my innocence of these alleged charges and I will forever. Whether you agree or not is not my problem. But you are tearing me down and you are not helping anything with your words to my wife and others. Can you please just make yourself humble and not try to make yourself look good to others? GOD is the only one that matters and what he thinks.”

A Virginia dad and grandma are facing multiple charges after a young boy died in a tractor accident. Austin Tester and his mother, Kelly Tester, reportedly made a lot of questionable decisions that led to the death of Austin’s son. Tester was riding with his son on a tractor when the accident happened. Although it’s not a safe choice to make, a lot of people let their young children ride with them on a tractor without being properly restrained.

It’s unclear exactly what happened that led to the tractor overturning, but it did, and the boy became trapped. Because of previous run-ins with the police, Tester fled, which only further harmed his son.

It took a lot of people to rescue the boy. 

About 11:45 a.m. on April 23, 2026, officers from the Bristol Police Department and members of the Bristol Fire Department and Bristol Life Saving Crew, were called after an accident involving a child and tractor, police shared in a news release posted to social media.

First responders found a 3-year-old pinned under the overturned tractor when they arrived. The three groups of personnel worked together to lift the John Deere tractor, which gave EMTs the space to rescue the boy and begin life-saving measures. He was taken to the hospital where he, unfortunately, died of his injuries. 

An investigation was launched by the Bristol Police Department Criminal Investigation Division. “Preliminary findings indicate that the child’s father, identified as Austin Tyler-Raymond Tester, was operating the tractor with the child seated on his lap at the time of the incident,” police shared in the release. “It was also discovered that Austin had an outstanding probation violation.”

Austin Tester left the scene.

He was found around 1:25 p.m. at a home belonging to his mother. “During the investigation, it was determined that his mother, Kelly M. Tester, age 41, was assisting in concealing him from law enforcement,” police shared in the release.

The 21-year-old was interviewed by police and arrested. He was charged with felony child abuse and neglect, and had an outstanding probation violation that came from a previous drug-related offense.

Kelly Tester was charged with obstruction of justice. They were both taken to Southwest Virginia Regional Jail Authority, the release noted. The mother was later released on a $2,000 bond.

Both of the Testers face multiple charges.

On May 1, additional details about the incident were released, WCYB reported. 

According to police, Austin contacted his mother at 11:17 a.m. before he called emergency services. Although she arrived on the scene within minutes, they still didn’t call 911. 

The investigation discovered that they waited about 22 minutes before calling 911 after the accident took place. It was a total of 31 minutes before emergency services arrived. Investigators also learned that Kelly Tester had a “custodial or guardian role” involving the child and failed to quickly call 911, per WCYB. 

According to the preliminary findings of the Office of the Medical Examiner, the boy’s cause of death appears to be asphyxiation, the Bristol Police Department shared in another news release.

“Investigators have determined that the delay in contacting emergency services significantly impacted the ability to provide timely life-saving measures,” police noted in the release.

As a result of the investigation, authorities added additional charges.

Austin Tester now faces felony homicide charges in addition to the previous charges, police shared. His mother now faces felony child abuse and neglect and felony homicide charges in addition to the obstruction of justice charge.

She was arrested May 1 and is being held without bond in Southwest Virginia Regional Jail. Her son is still being held in the jail as well. The investigation is still active and ongoing.

“This is a heartbreaking and tragic incident. Our thoughts are with the family during this incredibly difficult time. This investigation revealed a significant delay in contacting emergency services, which is deeply concerning,” Chief D. Byron Ashbrook shared in the second news release.

“Incidents like this also affect the first responders who are called to act quickly in critical situations,” Ashbrook continued in the release. “We want to thank the Bristol Virginia Fire Department and the Bristol Life Saving Crew for their quick response and efforts on scene. We remain committed to a thorough investigation to ensure accountability.”

A mother and her young son are among the dozen or so people who died when their cruise boat capsized. A group of more than 40 people set sail on an Indian cruise boat for what was meant to be a nice trip. Unfortunately, as they went down the Narmada River in Madhya Pradesh, things took a turn for the worse. Winds began whipping up, which caused the water to turn rough and swell. The boat began to lose control as it moved into a reservoir, and that was when everyone realized this wasn’t going to be just a quick thing they could move through. Life jackets were given out, but according to the few survivors, it was a futile attempt at trying to save the passengers.

The incident seemed to happen out of nowhere.

Around 6:15 p.m. April 30, 2026, the boat, which was carrying 43 people including passengers and crew members, capsized and sank, according to multiple reports, including the Hindustan Times. The boat, called the Narmada Queen and operated by the Madhya Pradesh tourism department, lost control in the Bargi Dam reservoir of the Narmada River.

According to the Times of India, the weather abruptly changed around 6 p.m., with high wind speeds creating turbulence within the dam. The wind destabilized the boat, which led to it sinking.

Rescue operations began almost immediately following the cruise boat sinking, despite the difficulties created by the weather.

The rescue mission spanned days.

Commandant of Home Guard SDRF Neeraj Singh Rajput spoke with ANI news agency about the challenges faced by the rescue teams, according to The Straits Times. 

“The situation here is difficult. Last night, it was rainy and dark, so the rescue operation faced some difficulties, but we continued with the help of lights and other equipment. Today, NDRF and army teams arrived, after which we recovered five bodies. A total of nine bodies have been recovered so far,” he said on May 1.

Personnel, including trained divers, were sent by the Indian Army to help with the rescue. As of May 1, the boat was still stuck in the water, which made recovery difficult.

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav called the boat sinking a “tragic accident” and attributed it to a seasonal cyclone. 

The mom and son were among several families who died.

The mother, who was identified as 39-year-old Marina Massey by The Times of India, and her 4-year-old son Trishaan were visiting from Delhi, the outlet reported. When their bodies were found on May 1, the boy was pressed to his mother’s chest and her arms were wrapped around him.

They were both wearing life jackets, but some survivors claim the jackets were too little too late.

“There were no visible safety measures during the journey. Panic broke out when the cruise started sinking, and only then were life jackets handed out,” a man named Julius told The Times of India. 

His wife died in the accident, and as of May 1, his daughter and grandson were still missing.

“We told the boat operator to turn back, but he did not listen,” Samrat, another survivor told The Times of India. “The boat capsized mid-dam. We managed to rescue around 15-16 people.”

On May 3, two more bodies were recovered, the Hindustan Times reported. They were identified as 45-year-old Kamraaj R. and his 9-year-old nephew Mauryan. Kamraaj took the trip with his wife and two sons, ages 6 and 9, as well as his sister-in-law and her son. Everyone but his 9-year-old son died.

An official investigation into the sinking of the cruise boat has been launched.

“This is a very sad and heartbreaking incident. I have ordered the department to investigate this incident. If negligence has occurred, we will take the strongest possible action,” Madhya Pradesh Tourism Minister Dharmendra Singh Lodhi told ANI, per The Strait Times. 

India Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed grief over the situation, and the Prime Minister’s Office released a statement on X.

“The loss of lives due to the capsizing of a boat in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, is extremely painful. I extend my condolences to those who have lost their loved ones in this tragic mishap. Praying for the speedy recovery of the injured. The local administration is assisting those affected.”

A payment of two lakh, or 200,000 rupees, about $2,100 US, will be given to the families of those who died from the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund. Those who survived also will receive money from the fund.

The thing about being a teacher, though, is you have to learn how to develop a bit of a thick skin so with some patience and perseverance you can pull through those tougher moments. Some patience could have gone a long way for a Connecticut teacher and wrestling coach who is facing charges after hitting a student so hard he caused head trauma and a concussion, all because the teen told a silly joke.

A teacher and wrestling coach has been placed on leave and charged after allegedly hitting a student.

According to WKRC, Steve Nelson, a teacher and head wrestling coach at Norwich Free Academy in Norwich, Connecticut, is facing charges after allegedly hitting a student in the face which caused trauma and a concussion.

The teacher has been on paid administrative leave since December 2025, WFSB reported. According to the arrest warrant released in April 2026, Nelson thought the student was not working hard enough and was “fooling around” while he was on a stationary bike at practice on December 30, the news outlet reported.

When the coach instructed the student to increase his speed on the bike, it was then when things escalated because of something you’d probably never expect.

The teacher allegedly got mad over the student using the popular Gen Alpha phrase ‘six-seven.’

When the wrestling coach tried to instruct the student to increase his speed from 30 revolutions per minute to between 60 and 70, the student told his instructor, “Coach, six-seven.” The arrest warrant states that was when the coach struck the athlete in the face, per WFSB.

Now, what does six-seven even mean? According to WKRC, the phrase that’s been toted around on social media as a “nonsensical meme,” doesn’t really mean anything; it’s just a reference to a song by Skrilla.

The coach claimed that he wasn’t actually trying to hit the student, but rather trying to get him to focus “with a tap or pat,” WKRC reported. The other witnesses corroborated that assessment, per WFSB.

The Norwich Free Academy community is stunned at the coach’s behavior.

A woman named Lisa Zeppieri, who has a son on the academy’s wrestling team, told WFSB that the allegations about the coach are difficult to believe. “He is mild-mannered, he does not have a hot temper. He is so supportive of the kids,” the mother shared.

Even though this mom calls this incident a “misunderstanding” that needs to be “resolved,” other students who described the coach’s behavior as “disturbing,” WFSB reported.

The warrant stated that the student who was struck complained of a headache and neck pain throughout the day after the incident, per WFSB. The student described taking a nap, waking up, and getting sick to his stomach. It was then when his father took him to the hospital to be assessed.

Nelson is charged with third-degree assault, a Class A misdemeanor, and risk of injury to a child, a Class C felony, the New Haven Register reported.

We hope the student has fully recovered and the coach finds a much better way to express himself to his athletes.

You could doomscroll for hours and consistently learn about things you didn’t even know existed. Someone recently posted asking for people who’ve legally killed someone to tell their stories. The answers are not only fascinating but sometimes terrifying. We definitely had some favorites.

Sometimes the death happens so quickly that people don’t even realize it.

One Redditor told a story about being attacked by a man at a party. Instinctively, the victim punched the man, knocking him to the ground. He hit his head and that was the end.

“It happened so fast it doesn’t feel real, I was just defending myself so I can’t say I feel guilty, but it feels weird, It’s so easy to lose your life. I wasn’t trying to kill him. I just responded to his attack out of reflex,” the person wrote. “I never thought something like that would happen. Do yourselves a favor and don’t start fights, because life is more fragile than you think.”

One person had a similar experience but as a teenager. “I paralyzed someone in a high school football scrimmage and they later died (years later) from complications resulting from the paralysis. I became friends of the family and they have emphasized over and over again that it was not my fault but I still feel guilt and it weighs on me,” the person wrote.

“It’s legal in the sense that I never got caught and it’s been long enough now that they couldn’t convict me. My uncle began forcing himself on me when I was about 4. Left me with a lot of trauma, anger issues and episodes of mania,” another commenter shared. “He also lived within walking distance of my house at the time. When I was about 13, one day in a manic episode, I grabbed the aluminum bat I kept in my room from when I played baseball and walked over to his house. I beat him with that bat until it bent.

“He survived that beating somehow but his injuries lead to an extended hospital stay which lead to getting addicted to painkillers,” the person continued. “The drugs eventually caused him to have a massive heart attack. So while not directly responsible, I started the chain of events that lead to him dying.”

Many people have killed others in innocent car accidents.

One person’s friend accidentally hit a child who ran in front of the car to get a ball.

“The kid was just not paying attention to the street and did it without thinking. The driver was not at fault at all. There’s no way she could have stopped,” the person explained. “It messed her up very badly.”

These kinds of accidents sometimes appear suspicious until a witness comes forward. One person’s dad hit someone on a dark road one night who appeared out of nowhere.

“The cops were about to arrest him when another driver returned to the scene and let them know the same guy jumped out in front of their car, but they were able to swerve out of the way,” the Redditor explained. “He never really got over it. Had nightmares all his life. Not only are people who do this not caring about how the driver will feel, but also that they could go to jail over it. Such a horrible thing to do.”

Some admitted to killing people as an act of mercy.

One Redditor couldn’t face watching a sick brother suffer any longer, so the person did something drastic.

“My brother was dying and I deliberately OD’d him on dilaudid. The hospice nurse pretty much left me set up to do it. He was in so much pain,” the commenter explained. “I think about it a lot, and I do believe I did the right thing. But sometimes I look at his daughter and the guilt comes at me.”

When a parent has to choose when to end their ailing child’s life, it’s a gut-wrenching decision we hope we never to have to face.

“I had to make the decision to shut off my (10 y/o) son’s ventilator when he was dying from complications of his genetic neuromuscular disease. He was on hospice. I held his hand the whole time and felt his heart stop,” a parent wrote. “This was in 2022. It haunts me every single day. I have nightmares and panic attacks.”

No matter what the circumstances, killing a person had an effect on nearly every person who spoke out on Reddit. Whether it was an accident or the effect of being pragmatic, knowing you had a hand in ending someone’s life inevitably sits with you. Forever.

Maria Clara Aguirre Lisboa disappeared from her home in Brazil in early October 2025. Her paternal grandfather reported the 5-year-old girl missing to Child Protective Services, which quickly turned over the case to police. The family was reportedly well known to CPS for allegedly making threats against Maria Clara. Police began their search, and evidence pointed to Maria Clara’s mom, Luiza Aguirre Barbosa da Silva, and stepdad, Rodrigo Ribeiro Machado, as potential suspects. Days later, they found the child dead in the most horrific way.

Police found Maria Clara in mid-October.

According to court documents obtained by the Mirror, investigators found the little girl’s body buried in Itapetininga on October 14, 2025. Experts believe she’d been in the homemade grave for approximately 20 days. A post-mortem examination determined Maria Clara had signs of ongoing physical abuse, including head trauma that looked to be inflicted by a blunt object. But that wasn’t even the worst part of the discovery.

Forensic experts believe Maria Clara’s parents buried her alive.

The post-mortem medical report indicated Maria Clara’s cause of death to be “mechanical asphyxiation caused by burial.” The little girl had soil in her windpipe, suggesting she was still breathing when she was put into the grave. The Sun reported that after Da Silva and Machado buried the innocent child, they covered the grave in concrete to seal her under the ground.

Police found a haunting audio recording from Machado.

The stepfather allegedly told Maria Clara’s unnamed father that his daughter was dead and to stop “bothering” him, per court documents. Machado wanted the child’s father to leave both him and Da Silva alone.  

“’Mate, are you deaf as well or something? Don’t wind me up, mate. I’ve already told you your daughter’s dead. She doesn’t even exist anymore,” Machado reportedly said, per The Sun. ‘Stop messing me about, all right? Stop sending me messages, yeah?’”

According to the Mirror, Machado has a history of gang involvement with the PCC First Capital Command. He’s known as “ruthless brother.” He had also reportedly abused both Da Silva and Maria Clara in the past, said lead investigator Franco Augusto. Both Da Silva and Machado face murder charges with aggravating factors and concealing her body.

How can a mother let this happen?

These kinds of stories bring up so many questions. It seems unfathomable that a mother would allow a man to hurt her child, especially one who’s not the child’s father, who has a history of violent behavior, and who has hurt her, too.

Many people commented on the Mirror’s Facebook page, sickened by what happened to Maria Clara.

“She is satan.she needs the same treatment,” someone wrote of Da Silva.

“Please stop these horrifying news, it’s actually making me ill, I am heartbroken, poor little innocent girl, the pain, the screams she went through hope her evil Mum gets the same treatment,” another person shared.

Da Silva brought this baby into the world and then helped to take her out. Make it make sense.

Gone are the days when members of the royal family are expected to be dressed prime and proper in every single photo. Even though it may not seem like it sometimes, modern times have allowed for things to become a little more casual and relatable to everyday life. Such was the case for the official Instagram page for Prince William and Kate Middleton when they shared a photo celebrating the 11th birthday of their daughter, Princess Charlotte. She can be seen in a cute striped sweater, jeans, and even some blue polish on her fingernails that folks online have noticed and been chatting about ever since.

When the White House posted a one-hour loop of Donald Trump saying the same word over and over on a loop, some people had to wonder if the account on X (formerly Twitter) was hacked. Others might have thought Barron Trump got a hold of the account and was suddenly in charge of posting brainrot about his dad.

The post says, “President Trump saying WINNING for 1 hour. Can’t stop, won’t stop.” No, it’s not fake, and yes, the video plays the same clip repeatedly from a speech Trump gave once upon a time. It’s giving prepubescent kids who love to say “six-seven” and dog on their friends for being “cooked, bro.” And now, people are calling out the White House for posting on X like a 12-year-old kid.

There’s definitely something pre-pubescent about some of the White House’s posts.

The video really is an hour long, and the White House didn’t take it down, even after the backlash. Even after users commented to share their distaste with the video and how pointless they see it to be, the video remained up on X.

“Well this is quite possibly the dumbest f—ing thing I’ve ever seen,” someone wrote on X. “You thought this was a good idea to post?”

Someone else added, “Have you guys lost your mind ? Is this really the official account of the White House? Are you guys literally smoking crack in the Rose Garden. What are you sharing on your  X account? Not even a 16-year-old teenager would share something like this. Unbelievable. It is officially a circus in The White House and all of you are clowns.”

A user also asked, “Okay, which deranged lunatic is managing this account?

People suggested that Lara Trump or Pete Hegseth might be in charge of the account. Or even Kartoline Leavitt. But whoever it is, they seem to be trying to appeal to a younger crowd.

Critics don’t understand how Trump is “winning.”

Besides the obvious, the issue people have with the X post is the content of the video. The idea is that Trump is “winning: and,therefore, winning with the U.S. But, as some people wrote in response to the X post, they don’t feel like they are winning when the U.S. is involved in a way that they were promised would be avoided. They also don’t feel like they are winning when they stop at a gas station to fill their tank.

“He is winning alright. His friends and family are winning, for sure,” an X user wrote. “The rest of the world is on the verge of economic collapse, but that don’t matter to him.  If this just affected the U.S.”

“He could say it a billion times,” someone else commented. “Thing is, he hasn’t done it once since he became president. Dude is a f—ing abomination.”

Another pointed out, “President is winning for himself and his cronies, not the American people. We stood behind him since 2016, gave him and @GOP a mandate to clean up DC, no new wars, stop out of control spending and put Americans first. Not one single thing has been done.”

You can always trust Donald Trump to go on a Truth Social posting spree if he’s extra bored during the late night hours on a weekend. That seems to be what happened when he began posting photos on his account after the White House Correspondents’ Dinner. And one of the photos, which is an AI-generated image of himself and some Cabinet members lounging in swimsuits in the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool, caught the intention of the rest of the internet.

It was likely because the image is clearly fake, but also because Trump was very forgiving with himself in a swimsuit. There’s also an unknown woman in a bikini in the pool, soaking up Trump’s sheer awesomeness. At least, that seems to be the general vibe. But it’s a photo from Trump’s Truth Social meltdown that has been shared and discussed elsewhere on social media, including TikTok.

The AI photo isn’t Trump’s only photo post from one night.

On May 1, 2026, at around 11 p.m., Trump posted the picture in question on Truth Social. In the photo, Trump is wearing swim trunks and lounging in a gold float while giving a thumbs up. Behind him sits J.D. Vance, who is also topless and, presumably, wearing a bathing suit underneath the water.

Other members of the Trump Administration are in the photo. But the timing and the sheer randomness of such an image, posted with zero explanation, is what people are confused about. A couple of minutes later, Trump shared another Truth Social post, this time an actual picture. In it, Melania Trump smiles broadly at the camera from across the room during a press conference after the shooting at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner.

A few minutes after that, Trump posted a photo of Minority Leader of the U.S House of Representatives Hakeem Jeffries. He wrote that the rep is “nothing but a thug” and that he has a “low IQ.” Let’s not throw stones in glass White Houses, alright? But the hits kept coming, including a Truth Social post from Trump of Mount Rushmore with his own face added to the mix.

After someone shared details of those posts on TikTok, a user commented, “It’s so strange that the social media standards are higher for me as a teacher than they are for the president.”

Another joked, “So they don’t take his phone away at bedtime.”

“Is he not the president?” Someone added. “Does he not have like…important stuff to do?”

It’s all about his plans for the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool.

The photo that Trump posted on Truth Social of himself apparently enjoying the swimming pool at the Lincoln Memorial is likely in reference to his plans to renovate the landmark and paint the bottom of the fountain blue. That’s all well and good, but why did he need to add an AI-generated image of himself swimming in it, along with some of his close personal political besties?

“For someone who refuses to reflect, he sure seems obsessed with the reflecting pool,” a user joked on the TikTok post.

And, another added, “He treats Truth Social like it’s his own private thought journal.”

Trump is known for his off-the-wall Truth Social posts.

Like someone else said, Trump seems to think Truth Social is his journal, or blog, that everyone expects him to update. From long-winded and rambling word salad posts to photo upon photo that speak to what Trump wants for the United States, he is no stranger to random social media posts. One of the most fascinating experiences of my adult life is watching how other people parent. As someone who carries a lot of self-doubt, I’m always observing how parents handle situations and comparing it to how I would have. I’ve learned so much from other parents by silently doing this. I’ve watched how brilliantly some moms navigate a meltdown, and I’ve stood in awe of how others have tapped into their patience in ways I hadn’t previously been able to. Unfortunately, this means I have also witnessed a lot of behavior that I personally don’t approve of.

Though it has never been egregious enough that I felt the need to intervene, those moments do happen out in the wild. In fact, a room full of restaurant patrons in Memphis, Tennessee, was put in that tough position of having to intercede after multiple guests alleged they saw a father intentionally bite his infant’s cheek.

Witnesses claim they saw ‘the baby’s skin on his lips’ after the incident occurred at a chicken wing restaurant.

The public became privy to the incident thanks to social media influencer Mitch Boss, who shared a viral video of the police’s response to the calls, Law & Crime reported. In the video, you can hear multiple people screaming as they detained dad Jerry Stark inside the restaurant by holding the door closed until authorities arrived. Police and witnesses say authorities responded to the call at the Memphis Wings restaurant at 2661 North Hollywood Street about 1 a.m., with reports of Stark allegedly attacking his own infant child.

According to Fox 13, Stark entered the establishment holding the infant and appeared to be extremely panicked. Witnesses said Stark lay down on the floor and said, “My family is trying to kill me.”

Law & Crime added that witnesses saw the dad squeezing the baby so tightly on the kitchen floor that he began to turn blue.

When people tried to remove the baby from the dad’s arms, he began biting the child’s cheeks.

That’s when patrons sprang into action. The video shows several people blocking the exit, where Stark was seen (without the baby) standing by the door as authorities arrived. One witness was heard calling out, “The baby’s skin is on his lips and cheek!”

“He had to be on drugs or experiencing a mental breakdown,” wrote a follower on the viral Facebook video. “I work with him; he’s a good person. Something has happened to him, drugs or a mental breakdown, yes, he’s definitely wrong for his actions, but there’s something deeper going on with him.”

The child’s mother claims Stark pushed her out of a moving vehicle and took off with their son.

Stark was arrested by Shelby County Police and is booked at Shelby County Jail on the charge of domestic assault causing bodily harm.
