The Mother's Day card my daughter sent says: "They say meditation can totally change your outlook on life!" (turn page) "Screw that, I need chocolate and booze." Then she wrote: Happy Mother's Day, Mom! Treat yourself, relax, and have fun. After 36 months of being pregnant, about 8 years nursing, and 3 decasdes of non-stop parenting, you deserve it! " I know all four of my kids appreciate me. I'm so lucky!

That's certainly something to ponder as sit at my computer, watching the rain come down in buckets, and wondering if I should make arrangements for an arc to carry me out of here if it gets any worse.. Do you think I could find one in the Yellow Pages under "flood control?"
