Can you use a breastpump immediately after having a baby? I didn't breastfeed with my first baby because I have large breasts and it was really awkward but I really want my second to have breastmilk!

    kfroz0415 You can, but I don't recommend it. Super early pumping seems to lead to an oversupply which causes a load of issues for you and baby. The best advice I can give is read pretty much everything on www.kellymom.com and visit the breastfeeding group on here. Also I have 36F's and am still successfully breastfeeding my 13 month old, so it can be done. :) January 15, 2012 at 1:15 PM
