Could Your Man Handle Being Pregnant?

Hubs & I practicing with diaper babies!
My husband, oh I love him, but I don't think he would be able to handle being pregnant. I don't think he could handle bleeding once a month either. Or PMS. Or just having a vagina. I don't think a lot of men could.
I think my hubs can handle lots of things -- he's great in times of panic, he's very level-headed and that pays off a lot, and he's a great cook -- but I think he would have a breakdown if he had to grow a baby, or babies in my case, in his belly, along with all the pregnancy symptoms.

I am not daring when it comes to the color of my coats. I have a black one, a camel one, and a grey one. Not very exciting. Getting all bundled up because it's cold, isn't fun, but I think it's about time I jazzed it up a bit with my accessories. I mean, why go with boring colors? I need a color that pops.
When I saw these gloves I thought, That's it!

Me at 35 weeks! Happy dance!
Thanksgiving. TIme of reflection. Time to give thanks. Almost baby time!
Yes, the countdown for the birth of my twins is coming down to the wire. As many of you know, I'm almost at 36 weeks and I am so very excitied. Part of me feels like it was yesterday when I shared the news I was pregnant.
I'm so grateful for so much and I just want you readers to know how thankful I am to you as well.

I'm going to turn the tables here -- let's start a little discussion on age and pregnancy, but not the age you expect.
I'm considered an old mom. I don't feel old, nor do I think I am old, but there are people who believe that I am too old to have kids. I'm 37. Expecting twins. First babies. Any day now.
I've read how some think I'll be more like a grandmother to my kids and won't be able to keep up with them and to this I say that's ridiculous. They will have their grandmas and I will be mom in high heels running around after them in the park.
But enough talk about older moms, what about young moms? How young is too young to be a mother?

Victoria's Secret used to make a cucumber melon lotion that I loved, but then they stopped making it. I think JayGirlsMom and I both loved it...and miss it. Oh it was so fresh...and sadly I may never smell it again!
So while they can't replicate the cucumber melon scent, there is a company that will replicate your favorite discontinued lipstick, lipgloss, or nail polish. It's called Giella.
But let me warn you, it isn't cheap.
Baby Photo & Journal Album: Take It Or Leave It?

I make all my photo albums online. I used Kodak Gallery to make my wedding album and I love the quality.
You build the album online, you can even add captions, and choose the size and way it's printed.
My camera is digital and I almost never shoot in film...unless it's with my Polariod, which I love! But I use digital far more often. And I know I will when my twins are born, too.

Me with twins at 34 weeks.
One of the OBGYNs in the collective I go to made a big stink about how much weight I am gaining...but she's the only one. The others seem very happy with my progress and didn't tell me to "Watch it" when talking about the foods I should eat.
Don't get me started...I am so annoyed with this one doctor.
I'm 35 weeks pregnant with twins and have so far gained 53 pounds.
I just found out that Heidi Klum gained 45 pounds during her fourth pregnancy. Oh Heidi...just when I thought it was impossible for me to love you more and now this!

I like to dress up for holiday gatherings. Heck, I like to dress up whenever I get the chance. I went to brunch for a friend's birthday this weekend and I wore a pretty dress just because.
My sister, on the other hand, always wears jeans. And yes, you can dress up your jeans, and she always does, but I like to take it a step further.

It's gift giving time again. Is it just me or did the season sneak up really fast? I am not prepared in the slightest -- financially or mentally. But I put my thinking cap on and asked some moms and came up with a list of beauty and style gifts all under $10.
You can wrap these items with some of your kid's construction paper, take a little ribbon and tie a pretty bow, and I'll bet the receiver of the gift is going to be really happy. And so will you -- great gifts without a big price tag!
