I would have to say when we were standing in line to get something to eat at one of those rest stop places on the turnpike and my daughter farted very loudly and my wonderful hubby told said "Priscilla!" also very louded and everyone looked at me. There was no point in trying to say it was her and not me. I just stood there very red faced! --
By the way, that Playard rocks!
My son had horrible GERD, with projectile vomiting etc. We thought that it had been pretty well under control.... well while at Walt Disney World, a very nice cast member came up to admire my adorable son. He projectile vomited right at her. It flew like 3 feet. Thankfully, she moved out of the way in time. But, we still had to have custodial come and clean up the mess. It was so embarrassing.
When my son was 10 months old we were driving to see our family and stopped to get something to eat at a restaurant. I put him down on the floor while I gathered up our things before leaving. He ran over to another table and crawled underneath, and started "using the bathroom." Well the table was not empty, there was an elderly couple sitting there, I could not get him out! And you could totally hear him grunting and farting and pooping! I was sooo embarrassed!

Ummm.....we haven't really traveled much with our daughter but one day we were coming home from a friends house and she pooped and it was a messy one!! It ran out of the diaper and was all over her clothes, on the car seat and up her back!!! YUCKY!
Most embarassing was when I was traveling with my then only 3 kids, who were 7, almost 3, and 9 months. My son (almost 3) had been potty trained for 6 months and I didnt think to bring pull ups. He fell asleep on the plane and peed everywhere and I had nothing to change him into so put him in one of the babys diapers. We were tired, crabby, and it was just one thing after another on the plane as the baby refused to want to sit still. I will never fly alone with my now 4 children again. Too much stress!
I had gone grocery shopping with my husband and daughter. Mandy was a little crabby on the ride to the store but that wasn't unusual so I didn't put much thought into it. I went to take her out of her seat at the store and discovered that she had explosive diarea all over herself AND her carseat. I quickly rushed her into the store bathroom, reached into my bag to find 1 diaper a size too small, 5 wipes, a tank top and a WHITE sweater. Thankfully it was relatively warm out so the tank with the sweater wasn't a big deal, but she had no pants.
I cleaned her up and but the tank on her and tied the sweater around her waist. It's a good thing she was so young, otherwise she couldn't have pulled it off. now I don't go anywhere without , 2 outfits and 10 diapers for each kid and a full pack of wipes.
We just found out we are pregnant again so this would be lovely! haha.
WELL my very barfy daughter has severe acid reflux and we were vacationing with my best friend from high school. While we were at their beach cottage she managed to throw up on everything. THEN we decided to venture to a little country store, well while we were shopping (I had DD in a sling front facing) I hear a plop of liquid, I look down and see a basket of votive candles covered in throw up! It was very embarrasing and needless to say put a sour moment on the vacation!
3 kids later I dont really have anything too embarrsing. But we have another on the way, so theres still time!
when i took my son on his first plane ride i got the grouchy old man in front of him... i thought my 2 yr old was doing wonderfully, no tantrums, a lil bouncy but on his first plane ride who could blame the adorable child! so about an hour and a half into the flight (2 hr flight) the man turns around and yells at me that my son is bumping his seat and needs to sit still. he was so angry. i told him i wish he would have said something before he got angry. he called the stewardess on me for saying that and she agreed with me, he started yelling "she is a bad mom her kid wont sit still" and the people around me defended me saying he is 2, 2 yr olds dont sit still.... sorry you got the seat in front of him but he is not behaving badly. to which he became furious and yelled, " I CAN TELL WHY HE ACTS LIKE THAT WITH A MOTHER LIKE YOU.!" i was steaming mad and asked who he was traveling with (obviously alone) i told him i could tell why he was alone .... i was beet red!

heck yeah, enter me : ) Most embarrassing thing that ever happened....when flying out of St. Louis airport with my son, the security people got some hair up their butt thinking I was a drug smuggler or something. Not only did I have to remove my son from his baby carrier to be wanded, they stripped him, searched his diaper, completely emptied our ENTIRE diaper bag on the floor in front of everyone, searched every single thing in it (let's not forget momma's tampons that were in the bag as well !!), took apart our carseat & stroller...I've never been stared at by so many people in my entire life.
