Babies of the Week: Gavin and Elijah

A weekly post to help us get to know some of our CafeMom cuties ...
Who: Gavin Jude (left) and Elijah David (right), 4 month old fraternal twins, sons of AmandaIVF. Elijah was born with a congenital heart defect known as Tetralogy of Fallot. He underwent open heart surgery at 3 months old and is doing wonderfully.
How long do they sleep at night?
They typically wake up to breastfeed every 4 to 5 hours, but have gone 7 hours before. They take little naps here and there, but don't have a "schedule."
What makes them smile?
Ceiling fans and their daddy!
What are their latest milestones?
Elijah just starting rolling over and Gavin is doing great at tummy time! They both babble nonstop. I swear, you could hold a conversation with them!! :) They also are beginning to focus on each other's faces.
What are their fussiest times of day?
Gavin is never fussy, hardly ever cries. He's a very mellow, mild mannered, VERY serious little baby. Elijah on the other hand can be a very fussy little guy! His nickname is "Fussy McFusster- Super Villain"! He likes to stay awake and play, which makes him overtired, and that's when he's the crankiest.
What will they do for a career?
Gavin always has a serious look on his face and rubs his hands like he's plotting world domination, so I'd say he's going to be a mad scientist. Elijah is such a flirt, so I'd say he's going to be a GQ model. ;)

Aww, they're so cute! I'm just thinking of all the stupid twin comments my friend with fraternal boy twins gets, and giggling because I know you deal with them too. Most importantly, "Are they twins?" No, seriously... what they hell? I've just got two infants, of similar size and weight and appearance with me. I borrowed one. What do people think?!

LMAO at the ceiling fans. All of my babies have loved those. It's like they're hypnotized. And BTW, when I baby sit my neices and nephews, if I go out I sometimes get the "are they twins" question. My middle child has one cousin 4 months older, and one 4 months younger (different families). Yep I did borrow one, lol.
Im glad Elijah is doing great they are so cute i have twin identical girls that are 2 1/2 weeks old
