Mom Style: What It Means to crazedmom

I want to talk to you, CafeMoms! I featured Jaiden615 last week, and now...introducing the beautiful crazedmom! She describes herself as a metalhead diva born in Brooklyn, NY, and she's mom to two boys, ages 5 and 12, and a 10-year-old girl. She's kind enough to share a little bit about her cool mom style.
CafeMicheleZ: I love the fun blue streaks in your hair!
crazedmom: Thanks, it's temporary. I did it with this mascara from Sally's. I can't do it all the time because I have to work during the week, so I do it on the weekend and I do my daughter's, too.
CM: What beauty or style routine changed most for you when you became a mom?
c: Time allowed for makeup...I asked myself, What makeup do I need to wear? For my hair, I like a strong shampoo to handle my hair not being washed every day, a conditioner to prevent frizzies, and a styling product that is reasonably priced.
CM: What is the one beauty product you cannot live without?
c: I can't live without mascara and lip balm.
CM: What is your go-to style or signature look?
c: Black boots, dark jeans, dark shirt.
CM: What physical feature do you love most about yourself and why?
c: I love my eyes since my kids actually have them.
CM: What celebrity do others say you most resemble?
c: No one.
CM: I think you look like the super talented Johnette Napolitano from the band Concrete Blonde. Which celebrity do you wish you could steal their look?
c: Heather Locklear and Kate Beckinsale.
I love Kate Beckinsale's look, too. But I also love crazedmom's fun style!
Can you relate to crazedmom? I sure can...I love mascara and I was born in Brooklyn, too.

My style is no makeup, neat hair with a nice headcovering, modest top and skirt. I know I'm way different but its a lifestyle. I don't try to keep up with fashion.
At best I'd have to say my style is a cross between Little house on the prairie and Amish LOL.
my style is the complete lack of style haha. Honestly half the time I can't even remember if I styled my hair at all or just ran out the door as soon as I go the kids dressed and ready for the day!
I don't blame it on motherhood though...I have always been this way :) As long as I am showered, in clean clothes and have my teeth brushed, I don't care about much else
my style is the complete lack of style...i hear its very common among mommies. i get a brush thru my hair, and some deodorant. i shower daily, and thats about all i get. i dont wear makeup, except for special occasions, and im lucky if i get enough free time for a ponytail. i do love my lip balm tho...i have 11 pairs of dark wash jeans vs 1 pair of dress pants. and i live for long sleeve and form fitting tees. its kinda funny, cause my kids are always dressed to the nines, and adorable as heck.
I just need a makeover. I work 2 jobs and am a single mom. I don't know when the last time I bought any clothes. I usually always do wear makeup when I go someplace. I guess I have a laid back style.
Awesome and cool to do the weekend blue streaks. I'd love to try that and I know my dd would as well.
Yup, lip balm....if I don't have a backup to my backup (in case I lose the first 2), I go nuts! LOL
