I've BeDazzled my clothes, adorned them with appliques and embroidery, and now I want to try stamps.

Cafe Sheri introduced me to Elisabeth Dunker's blog fine little day. Elisabeth was even kind enough to do a home tour -- I love her forest wallpaper and baby buggy. And she even named her son one of my most favorite names...Otto. Yeah, Elisabeth has a great sense of style, not just in her home and baby names, but she decorated an old t-shirt with stamps she made herself.

You can transform a boring tee into an original. And just like I mentioned when using appliques, it's great for hiding stains on an otherwise perfect shirt.

In case you don't want to make your own stamps, you can get some of your own at a hobby shop, along with a fabric ink.

I found some really cute stamps at The Mayberry Sparrow shop on Etsy (prices start at $3). And I've heard that VersaCraft is one of the best and inexpensive ink pads to use on fabric. Scrapbookforever on Etsy sells this line (prices start at $2.50).

I'm going to play with white ink on one of my zillion black t-shirts. How cute would that look with those little bird and tree stamps?

So...tell me: Are you going to have fun with stamping your clothes?

desir...

you know... i always thought stamps go with paper automatically but this makes perfect sense... just as long as you have the right ink you could use anything... boy i feel dumb for thinking in such a closed minded way. Thanks for sharing... i was really beginning to wonder what I could do with all my scrapbook stamps because I don't use them in my scrapbooking nearly enough to justify having them around and having spent the money i did on them.
