They're loose and airy and and seem as comfortable as sweats, yet with a different structure and style.
Free People's Pocket Harem Pant ($98) are knit and have tapered legs. They even have a short built in so your thighs won't chafe. Good idea!

Anthropologie's One-Thousand-And-One Trousers ($178) aren't as bunchy in the rise (read: crotch) and they have pleats.
While they look great on these models, I'm not sure I'm sold on the look.
What do you think of harem pants?
I don't think these pants would flatter any one larger than your standard model...but if you can pull it off, more power to ya!
I agree! The picture of the black pair reminds me of MC Hammer pants.. that's a part of my past I'd rather NOT remember... thank you very much lol. All of those pictures have been burned... and I'd like NOT to relive those days.
I have size 9.5 feet... Any pants that taper in at the bottom look T-E-R-R-I-B-L-E on me. I can't even wear skinny jeans unless I want to look like I'm walking around with skiis on my feet. But the sad thing is that even women with little feet look like they're wearing clown shoes with pants like these. They're awful and they always look like they're too short for the person wearing them.
I've never seen anyone look GOOD in them.. even the models look rediculous.. but thats just my opinion
Uh...those are HAMMER pants, NOT Harem pants and I care not what anyone tries to church them up as. They should have left these in the 80s for sure.

Hallelujah! I'm not the only one that thinks this! I have size 10 feet and I have to have pants that flare a bit to balance them out! These just do NOT work.
They look good on tiny women with tiny feet or those who can wear high heels to minimize the look of the feet. NOT ME!! haha
