An Ode to Pigtails & Some Braid Love Too

I have only fond memories of wearing pigtails throughout my girlhood. Pigtails made me happy. Even in my 20s, I put pigtails in sometimes, and they always made me smile. I think I could still pull off a couple of low ones. :)

My youngest has just started letting me put her hair in pigtails and I love it. She love it too --- everyday last week and this!

I like to wear them still and I totally should not....I wear them when I clean the house and when we camp because I think those two times you can get away with it no matter who you are. I have to have my sister braid my hair for me though, I am not good at that but I when I put my hair in the pigtails I normally go low.
I have been putting them in my daughter's hair since I could get enough hair together to make them (as you can see from the picture--hee hee)
