Eyeing New Boots for Fall

It's been about five years since I bought boots, but this is the year for new ones.
However, I'm not sure what kind I want: tall, ankle booties, mid-calf, motorcycle, slouchy, western, lace-up, zip-up? Phew...And then there are the color choices. Sigh.

OK I am a boot lover and I bought my first pair of boots for this fall!!!!!!! I am so exited about them I actually found them at a store I NEVER shop at called SEARS! I know crazy right they were approx. 49.99 and dark brown zip up tall below the knee boots ! I almost bought the black leather ones I was on my way to check out when my Mom and I both did a double take at the (riding boots) lookalikes same boot in dark brown. So cute and besides my Mother says nowadays you can mix brown and black together ! Is this true like a black shirt, jeans, and dark brown boots ??? I d k
