Weekly Want: Layers! Cozy Scarf & Jacket

Who am I kidding? I want this whole look. It's from Madewell, the store where I look but don't touch. They always give me great style inspiration though.

The scarf and jacket sure would be a nice start. It's getting chilly in NYC (how is it by you?) and I need a little something that isn't so cumbersome, yet still looks good with everything.

I love layering and even though I am afraid to play with color, this look puts it together for me -- multi-color scarf over olive green jacket, over cobalt blue cardigan, over white top. Looks great with jeans and grey booties. The matching white and blue socks peeking out is pretty cute, too. 

If I bought the jeans I would like to also buy the legs that are shown here, please.

I don't know the prices on these items here because as I mentioned, I look, but never touch. Madewell tends to run on the high end. I got the look delivered to my inbox since I sign up for the newsletters of stores I like for sale information and I love when they send images -- it's my inspirado.

So where can I get it cheaper than prices at Madewell? Forever 21 has this Melodie Knit Jacket in grey and black for $32.80 that looks super cozy. Wear it with the People Tree Space Dye Scarf from Top Shop for $32 for a similar look.
