The holidays are coming! Eek! Where did the second half of this year go?!
For those of you who started shopping already, or want to get a head start, LUSH has some sweet deals (free stuff!!!) for the early bird.
LUSH is one of my favorite bath and body brands -- handmade, organic, fresh, and always yummy smelling. The solid shampoo bars and American Cream conditioner are my favorites. They also make really cool pre-wrapped gift boxes (like the one featured at left) that have a slew of great stuff.
I think I'm going to have to do some shopping. One for me, one for my sister. One for me, one for my mom.
Here is the scoop on the deals happening now....

I have tattoos and I don't hide them. They are a part of me just like anything else that is on my body.
I know some people don't like them. And that's cool. But I don't judge someone because they love the color burgundy, so I ask others to not judge me. I do like burgundy sometimes, just not as a color to wear really. Just to clarify.

This weekend I was (once again) complaining about my greasy hair, and my mother-in-law sang the praises of coconut oil and its many natural beauty and health benefits. It moisturizes, conditions, nourishes, refreshes—you name it, coconut oil does it.
Here are five reasons to give coconut oil a try:

I have this huge scar on my right foot from a really bad car accident. It happened in the spring, and though the actual wound was healed by the end of summer, I refused to wear flip-flops for the longest time because my skin looked so bad.

Watch the video if you don't know what threading is. As you'll see, it's a form of body hair removal involving two strands of sewing thread tightly wound around the hair shaft and yanked out by the roots. It's practiced in India and other eastern countries, but has found it's way here. And it's become my new favorite way to tweeze my eyebrows.

Weird question right? But smell is actually something I consider when I'm purchasing beauty products.
For example, I LOVE the smell of coconut, which is why I started using Sephora's Coconut Cream Body Butter after I got a sample at the store. Now, I have no idea what "body butter" is supposed to do, but I put it on my body because I'm addicted to smelling like lovely coconut. It has become part of beauty routine...

More than 50 percent of women say their feet embarrass them "always, frequently, or sometimes." Are you part of this statistic? I most definitely am...

I need this. A self tanner that fight cellulite. And it's all natural. No bad stuff. Genius. Here's the bad news: It's $40.
I may need to splurge. My legs are so pale they are translucent.
