There are tons of ways to wear a scarf, but a hooded scarf introduces a whole new look. I know they makes hooded scarves for kids, and why not make them for adults -- we lose our hats, too!
I really love Urban Outfitters' 2890 by Arne & Carlos Intarsia Hooded Scarf ($48) -- kind of expensive though. Maybe it's because it's from Scandinavian designers? I love the print and the length. And it delicately drapes over your head.
I also found these....

Last week's Project Runway had me scratching my head -- what is going on with them? There wasn't much to like in this last challenge. Are they all too busy talking about each other to focus on their own designs?
There usually is a couple of looks I love, but not this time.
Spoiler ahead...let's dish....

My mom and dad on their wedding day.
I remember missing the bus as a kid and she'd have to drive us to school. She wouldn't leave the house without her lipstick. So maybe her hair was a mess and she had on PJs under her coat, but her lips were perfectly painted red.
Another woman in my life who had amazing style was my aunt Eileen. She too always looked gorgeous. I remember her hair being frosted in the 80s and I thought it was just the most glamorous look. She was like Farrah Fawcett meets Lauren Bacall.

Last week while on a walk through my neighborhood, I saw this skeleton hanging outside a house. So of course I wanted to pose with it.
I ended up breaking off one of his arms, so here's me trying (and failing) to re-attach it.
If you can ignore the big twin baby belly, you can see me rocking my new coat in this photo -- it's light grey with big buttons and it's from Zara. I've got on my fingerless gloves and a beret that my sister-in-law gave me for Christmas a couple of years ago. I love this beret.

Me & my poncho
Two years ago I purchased this vintage poncho on Etsy for $15. One of my best purchases ever! Inexpensive, super cute, and versatile. No matter how big I get during pregnancy it still fits.
I've always liked ponchos -- the sweater kind, not the plastic rain kind. They have a hippie chic appeal and look really cute with jeans tucked into boots.

Plus they have LC by Lauren Conrad (pictured right) and Simply Vera by Vera Wang (pictured below).
It's one-stop shopping for kids clothes, toys, housewares, electronics, and even jewelry. And I've got $75 in gift cards to give away to one lucky CafeMom.

I finally caught up with Project Runway over the weekend.
Last week I loved how Carol Hannah was talking about her crush on Logan -- he sure is cute. But this last episode made me dislike Irina even more.
Show recap with spoiler ahead...

What the heck is a cloche hat? Popular in the 1920s, this bell shaped hat gets its name from the French word for bell -- cloche.
It was a popular style for flappers. Josephine Baker used to wear a cloche and Angelina Jolie wore one in the movie Changeling.
And I really want one.

Photo from Madewell
I'm having a love/hate with this look.
I love the way it looks on this model showing off clothes from Madewell -- but she has long, thin legs. Oh and that pale yellow cardigan -- I want!
My friend Melody, also long and lean, has worn short with tights and heels and looks amazing. But she looks amazing in everything.
On the other hand, I hate the look because it isn't easy for just anyone to pull off. Namely, me.
