What are you doing for New Year's Eve? I'll admit that it's my least favorite night of the year to go out. I live in NYC and it gets too crazy and crowded, so I prefer a quiet evening at home watching the ball drop on TV. In years past, I've had a couple of friends over or kept it mellow at small gatherings.

Whether you're planning on hitting the town or are tucking the kids in at normal bedtime (or letting them stay up to watch the ball fall, too), you can still ring in the New Year with some beauty and style! I've rounded up some goodies featured in Beauty & Style Buzz perfect for the occasion.

I live in my jeans. And so I've found ways to be creative and dress up denim. From a fancy silk top to a plain old tee, you can fancy up any pair of jeans.

Leg warmers -- how can you wear them without feeling like a 10th grader? Or like you are back in the 80s...in a bad way? As with many fashion trends, it's not always what you wear but how you wear them. I think I will go as far to say that leg warmers really never went out of style and it's a fashion item that also keeps you warm. Practical fashion? A true win-win!

Off-season weddings are becoming increasingly popular -- it costs less and allows some couples to do a lot more. But that leaves those on the guest list wondering: What should I wear to a winter wedding?

Matching prints can be a total headache. How to pair plaids, stripes, and different color combinations can be confusing. I think that's why I don't do it very often.
