Whitney Casey, the journalist-turned-sex expert behind the book The Man Plan is everywhere this week. She chatted with Howard Stern on Tuesday, and she dished up lots of advice on dating and details about her own love life.

Every few years, there is a book for women on how to "catch" a man. I don't know how I feel about the idea of catching a man...like a fish. Another issue I have with Whitney Casey's book is that she is a totally beautiful tall blond. What might work for a blond bombshell like Whitney might not work for the rest of us mortals.

I'm not saying it's all true love and romance. But do these books take us all a few steps back? Is it all in fun? Should I just chill out? Talk to me.

Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck gave birth to a healthy baby girl! E! News reports that Jen and Ben welcomed their second daughter to the world today. No other details were available but I'm so glad the couple had another girl, as their 3-year-old Violet Affleck is the cutest.

I can't wait to find out what they name the baby! I'm sure Cafe Suzanne at Baby Buzz will have lots of scoop about the new Miss Affleck. Check out Toddler Buzz for scoop on Violet, the new big sister.

Jett Travolta's death and the pain of his family is heartbreaking. That's why I am stunned at some of the news reports and media coverage of this tragedy.

There is a lot of buzz about whether Jett Travolta had autism or not. There are stories about Scientology and how this harmed the child. How can people question these poor parents right now? I just don't get it!

The Karianna Spectrum blog has an excellent response to some of the media and blogs that are bashing the Travolta family right now. From Karianna's blog:

What happened was sad. But attempting to link autism to the death is misleading and hurtful. The Travolta-Preston family deserve more. The family has suffered a tragedy. And autism shouldn't be part of the picture.

Billy Mays or the ShamWOW Guy?  Who do you love (or hate) the most in the Battle of the TV Informercial Pitchmen?

Billy Mays is one of the most successful pitchmen on TV today. The success of Billy Mays is amazing. One of the brands Billy pitches on TV is OrangeGlo. The OrangeGlo company credited Mays' salesmanship for much of the company's success. Mays has done TV commercials for ESPN ad has become a household name.

As Seen on TV website has all the Billy's commercials for your viewing pleasure. It's a huge hoot! The guy is laughing all the way to the bank.

I've got Cabin Fever! It's January and I want to escape to an island during the cold weather but the paying the bills thing makes my beach party impossible.  If you are suffering from the same fever, here are some books to read.  An island would be better.

The Encyclopedia of Immaturity book! How did I miss this book before the holidays! It's so completely worthless and fun...perfect for me.

Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West is awesome. My daughter got it for Christmas and I read it while she played all her cool new games.  Loved it! I'm sure you've read it or others in the series but if you haven't, read it.

From Dead to Worse is the latest in the Sookie Stackhouse Southern Vampire Mysteries.  The HBO series,True Blood is based on the Sookie Stackhouse books. You don't have to be a fan of vampires to love these books. They are quirky, funny, scary, romantic. Very hard to describe.

Nicole Kidman is a drinker of Tasmanian Rain, water that is captured as it falls from the clouds over Tasmania, Australia. Per Mrs. Mogul:

It's supposed to be ten times purer than spring water. The sparkling version contains the lowest sodium content of any carbonated water on the market. A case of 24 375ml bottles is $79. 

OMG! As if paying almost $80 for water wasn't over the top, the company offers a special Rainman service, you can have bottles delivered to your doorstep any day of the week.

This is totally evil but wouldn't it be funny if Tasmanian Rain bottled water was really just tap water from a guy named Bob? Ponder it.

Rebecca Romijn and Jerry O’Connell have had twin girls! Celebitchy reports that the birth of the twins was announced on the Howard Stern show.

This couple seems like they have a great sense of humor. Romijn was on best rest during the last few months of her pregnancy, and they did a hilarious video through Funny or Die.

The video was a spoof on Romijn’s shape shifting role as Mystique in the X-Men series. In Mystique is Pregnant Romijn changes into different people from bed, including comedian Jerry Minor and Perez Hilton.

Another reason I think Rebecca Romijin may be my kind of girl is that she wanted to name one of her daughters Dolly after Dolly Parton.  She's a fan of the country legend, just like me!

John Travolta's son Jett Travolta died today in the Bahamas. The family had just arrived in the Bahamas on New Year's Eve for vacation. Huffington Post reports on the story:

Travolta's attorney Michael Ossi says Jett suffered a seizure at his family's vacation home at the Old Bahama Bay Hotel on Grand Bahama Island. Attempts to revive him were unsuccessful and he died on scene.

There have been reports that Jett was autistic, though Travolta has denied it, saying he suffers from Kawasaki Syndrome, a condition which often leads to heart disease.

There just aren't words. Say a prayer or give a good thought to John Travolta and Kelly Preston and their family.

Better Off Dead

My BFF and I can still recite this movie, line-by-line, because it's still one of my faves. This movie cracks me up and is John Cusack at his finest. Tell me you love this movie. Lie to me if you have to.

Tom Cruise wants 10 kids! If you're not queasy   from New Year's Eve, think of having 10 kids with Tom Cruise!

Celebitchy reports that Tom's recent interview with the Sun covered the following topics:
