Am I really the only one who can't stand this movie?  It just does nothing for me at all.  Although, I do kinda like the lamp.

This is one of my favorite movies of all time.  I've seen it so many times I can practically recite the whole bloomin' thing.  It's just not Christmas until I hear "You'll shoot your eye out" and "It... it was... SOAP POISONING!"  :D

I watch this movie every year with my Hubby! He loves it! We play it all through out the 24 hours of Christmas Story that they play on cable!

I crack up at the crabby Santa - when he yells HO HO HO!! and kicks him down the slide!  LOL         (Ha ha ha, Only in the movies!)

I don't like that movie too so you're not alone. It is a good movie but just a one time movie. I have my personal favorite, Chevy Chase's national lampoon Christmas Vacation. The squrriel part has me laughing every time.

I have a couple favorite parts...First one is when Ralphie has on the pink bunny costume & his Dad says "He looks like a pink nightmare...do you want to take it off?  Take it off!!"           The second is close to the endwhen they are done opening presents, or so Ralphie thinks.  He seems somewhat satisfied, even though he does not get his gun.  Then just watching his Dad's delight when Ralphie finds the gun & realizes...oh, I cry every time!

OMG - this is my most favorite Holiday movie - there are so many favorite parts - when Ralphie curses and has to eat soap and then his dad curses while changing the tire, The Bompkisses dogs storming into the house & eating the holiday turkey and they have to eat at a Chinese Restaurant and sing Fra, La, La, La, La, ,,,,but of course who can forget the pink bunny suit he gets from his aunt and has to put it on and his mom thinking he looks so cute and his dad telling him how ridiculous he looks!  OK - so I REALLY like this movie!!!!!  LOL!!!  I have it DVR'd even right now so I can watch it this weekend AGAIN!!!!
