The Library is Our DVD Store!

Our public library has become our DVD rental store. My family visits the library and checks out DVDs for family movie night. babygoose78 and qtmomof2 use the library as a family entertainment resource.
My kids have always loved visiting the library and checking out books. When they were little, I would let the girls pick out a VHS or DVD of one of their favorite shows at the end of each visit.
I spent so much time in the children's part of our library, I didn't discover the awesome selection of DVD's until last year!

Where we use to live had a very low selection of vhs and dvds but when we moved up here I about freaked when I saw how many movies they had. So the past three years that is where I go for any movie :-D.

Our library (considering the little town we live in) has a lot of newer releases. Not brand new BUT fairly new - great for finding the kids something. They are even renting out video games now. Any video or game rental is FREE and we get them for 5 days, love it!
Our local library has mainly older movies. Of course they don't get any scary new releases. I will stick with Netflix! I keep the DVD's for weeks until I get a chance to watch them. I had a movie for a month once, took me that long to get a chance to watch it.
qtmomof2 I am happy to mention you girl! Glad to know there is another library out there like ours, LOL.
I love borrowing movies form our library. We have inter-library loans here too so if we want to see a movie or tv show (yes they carry tv shows on dvd too) that our library does not carry.
A couple libraries in our state l;end out video games too!
