Marvel movie and comic fans will soon be able to interact with their favorite Marvel superheroes online--World of Warcraft style.
Marvel Entertainment and Gazillion Entertainment struck a licensing deal to develop massively multi-player online ( MMO) games based on Marvel characters.

Gaziilion wants to surpass the success of the mega hit World of Warcraft. The Marvel games will be subscription-based but will be user-friendly for the hard-line gamers and the social gamer.
The Los Angeles Times reports that Gazillion also has killer deal with Lego to roll out Lego Universe, an MMO with Lego characters.
This week is like Christmas week at my house for my teen daughter! She's a Twilight addict who is also a gamer girl. My daughter was so excited when I told her about the Gazillion/Marvel deal. She's such a geeky chick...like mother, like daughter!
Are you excited to hear about the new Marvel and Lego MMO deal? Talk to me, all you gamer girls out there!

i love my marvel super heros, but i'd rather play marvel alliance (a superhero video game) than go online, pay, and play against a bunch of children and teenagers. The Lego MMO however, looks very cool, but I have all the Lego video games, so I can just replay those instead. MMOs are great, but they are NOT for me.
I am big on the comics (if you can't tell by my group) but the video games have been slowly slipping through my fingers. I just can't keep up with that stuff anymore.

Isn't that a pay per play thing? Like City of Heroes or City of Villains? It would SUCK if it was...we bought both on Ebay and realized we made a mistake when we went to the website and had to JOIN the club for a fee...what the???? How much money did they want from us anyway???
This sucks because my husband wants something like this and has been waiting for something like this...without the extra fees...
