On the "gay" issue.. All my gay friends have seen it, and didn't mind it. Gay stereotype movies have been done, and done, and done.. this isnt new. Hes a character, everyone understands that. They said its not hurtful unless your LOOKING to be offended by it.. and found it really funny so many straight people are up in arms about it when they themselves found it entertaining. Then again, my friends have great senses of humor and are not easily offended. They grew up the only two gay kids in a high school of 2500 hicks, so... they have thick skins.

I would go see it if we could get a babysitter.. but its not worth the $25 bucks to her and the $25 bucks to the movie theatre and the $10 popcorn.. I'll netflix it later. I like Sacha Baron Cohen, I think hes a hilarious comedian. I didn't like Borat all that much, but who knows? Comparing the two seems a bit unfair. This isn't Borat 2... so I'm not going to judge it before I see it. All I know is the naked wrestling scene in Borat with his producer made me gag.. so as long as this doesnt have THAT happening again? I'm happy.

I think he's hilarious, but this doesn't look anywhere near as funny as Borat to me.  I'll probably give it a shot thouhgh.

Ditto ^^. That wrestling scene was way gross, it pretty much ruined the whole movie for me.

Anyways, I am certainly not interested in seeing it in theaters, there are way to many other movies coming out this summer I want to spend my money on. M And MY favorite Sacha Baron Cohen movie role is in Sweeney Todd... Even though he dies pretty awesomely.

I live in Alabama. We are a rich target for all his antics ( well deserved, maybe) I mean once bitten, twice shy, right? I know too many people he took advantage of for entertainment's sake. Yes it is funny, but it is also mean.

I think he is funny. Borat was on the gross side though. I see what he is trying to do. People sit and say I am not racist but when they are with someone that they can put they're guard down the real feelings show!
