Oh, my gosh! That is terribly sad. I believe Kate is telling the truth. That is very sad to leave her and the children with no money.

Honestly. I am sick of hearing about them. I think they should STOP the show and concentrate on the children. Jon and Kate are BOTH to blame. I can understand how easy it would be to say SURE to TLC when offered a show but with the way their life is now it is time to pull the plug and try to live a "normal" life. PLEASE!!!! For the kids!!

She needs to stop telling her private business to the entire world.  Enough is enough.  She has plenty of money-more than the money she says Jon took out of their joint account.  Do you SERIOUSLY believe that's the ONLY bank account she has?  She's just looking for more sympathy.  Her poor kids are going to school having to listen to whispering behind their backs because mom and dad keep telling the world their business,  I'm sick of the BOTH of them.

ITA Fallaya. They don't need to be putting their business on blast like this. They both need to stay away from cameras and talk shows and focus on what they can do for their kids.

 Anyway you look at it, its sad. Its sad that they made alot of money together, and now Jon is off the show and he probably really see's their bank account as being parcially his. Even though it is super unreasonable to clear it out=(

I hope TLC just cancels it, it was fun while it lasted- back in the day but its not fun anymore, it is stressful!

I think she's full of it. She's claiming he stole the money DESPITE the fact that SHE is the one who had access to ALL their accounts as she was (and admitted it to in various other interviews over the years) in control of the money. The ONLY reason she's claiming this is to force him to allow her to resume filming.

IF Jon DID take the money then SHE needs to go to court and DEMAND that he returns it. A court should and WILL be able to determine who is telling the truth. She'll have to take ALL of their bank records AND have the bank show who is the one who had been withdrawing money. Ten to one it's going to be HER who has been. I recall one episode of J&K+8 where SHE bitched him out for spending $50 on something he wanted YET in the SAME episode spent over $250 at the SPA!

What's disgusting is that REGARDLESS of he took the money or she took it that it maybe that NO MONEY was placed in a trust for those children. The money should have been split 10 ways with eight portions placed in individual trust funds where NEITHER Jon or Kate could touch OTHER than to deposit.

I hope Jon goes to the banks and get the bank info then go to court showing that SHE is the one squandering the money. He needs to place a FREEZE on the bank accounts then the accounts audited with what's left placed in a trust and have the trust pay the bills and give each other them money to live off of.

 I'm sure they do have bonds or some form of savings for the kids alot of that stuff is only allowed to be accessed after how ever long they agree upon, like she said the "liquid" money they have was taken. Not only that but that money was for the bills and it was said that there is a savings for the kids that was untouched.

When you try to provide a better life for your kids you buy a bigger house, you do alot more things, you buy things that you couldn't buy before, you take them places and show them the world because you are able to. But all that means you must upkeep your income to keep providing that life. I would be mad too I were her. Oh yeah, stop filming the show that's gonna help everything. How do you figure? look at all the stuff the kids experience, the good things anyway. What's done is done. Their business is out there already if they stop the show it's not like all that goes away. They will always be known for who they are and what has unfortunately already happened to the marrige. If the kids were unhappy with the show, well I think that needs to be decided in court, then there would be no question of what the kids really wanted.

my question is would any of you sit there with your mouth closed while the other is making decisions that are life changing to you and your family? Does anyone think about what it would be like to be in their shoes? Not only that but before anyone came out and said anything their own family put them on blast. Screw Kate's bother and wife. The only family that ever seemed to be around betrayed them and bad mouthed them. Jodie or what ever her name was . She seems pretty fake to me, pretending to be all sweet on the show and then say mean things.                                   

Think of them never having the show. Struggling to provide the basics, never getting to spend a day with your kids without being over exhausted and over worked trying to stay awake to watch your kids and work all the time. That's better for the kids?              

  I'd watch Kate plus 8. Jon probably loves his kids but he's not making decisions for his kids his making them for himself. It's only obvious with the thiongs he's done.

I'm so tired of hearing about this.  They need to get off the talk shows and off TV in general, find a babysitter and go to marriage counciling.  Or just shut the heck up.
