I'm part of the House of Frankenstein Team!
I have dubbed Angela, aka harrypottermom, the Queen of Halloween.
She owns the group The Halloween Tree (must be a member), which has successfully aided in me procrastinating at work. Ssshh, don't tell CafeMom! :-)

Remember Polaroid cameras? Those cameras that instantly print the photos that became extinct?
Well they're making a comeback.

Just because HBO's True Blood has wrapped for the year doesn't mean we can't obsess over it till next June ...
Or May ... if you count the books. That's when Number 10 in the Sookie Stackhouse series, called Dead in the Family, comes out.
Click for a Dead in the Family plot summary.
Even the author herself, Charlaine Harris, is a big fan of the show, which often departs from the book's storyline. Like us, she can't wait to see what happens next.
"It’s surprising!" Harris says in a recent interview in the Sou'wester, a publication of Rhodes College, Harris's alma mater. "I never know what (writer/director) Alan (Ball) is going to do! It’s so much fun that Alan and I trust each other. He never tries to suggest anything for the books, and I never try to suggest anything for the series, because we’re each doing what we do best and we’re enjoying it very much."
Other snipits from the interview:

Jessica Harp
If you like country music, I highly suggest checking out Jessica Harp. She is most famous for partnering with Michelle Branch in the duo The Wreckers, but she's now venturing out on her own and her solo album "A Woman Needs" debuts this September.

I'm not one to read fiction books, preferring drug-addled memoirs and Suze Orman-style advice texts instead, but there is a new book out there that broke my rule.
Emily Listfield's Best Intentions is a true page-turner that begs the question: How well can you ever really know a person?
The book follows four former college friends on the edge of 40 as they navigate marriage problems, career pressures, parenting tactics, and most importantly, past grudges. Readers will wonder just how much love influences how we perceive those closest to us -- how much we trust them, how many questions we're willing to ask, and when we'll allow doubt to take hold.

Do you watch NBC's The Office? Hilarious! And one of my favorite characters was Jan, played by Melora Hardin.
Melora's had various riles in film and theater throughout her career. Most recently, she's appeared in 17 Again and Hannah Montana: The Movie.
Her daughters, Rory, 7, and Piper, 4, along with her husband, mother, and father, all starred in a soon-to-be released film called YOU (online on May 8th). YOU was a labor of love and shows the depth of Melora the woman, not just Melora the actress. And she is also sharing who she is as a mom with us.
Moms...I sure learn a lot from my own, the ones here on CafeMom, and moms who are in the spotlight. In honor of Mother's Day, we're talking to a lot of moms, and will be featuring many celebrity moms and get their thoughts on motherhood. Here are Melora's thoughts and experiences on motherhood....
