Alients in the Attic DVD, $30

I think the movie Aliens in the Attic is absolutely adorable. I took my friend's kids to see it and not only was I entertained, but the kids loved it (and sat through the entire thing...miracle!).

The Toy Story 3 trailer is finally out — movie to come out June 2010 — and the storyline looks funny. Andy, the toys' owner, is grown up and headed off to college.

Buzz Lightyear, Woody, and the other toys must face a new fate when they are donated to a preschool. Yikes!

Saw VI comes out today, just in time for Halloween.

I'm not a fan of these movies...the whole blood, guts, and gore thing just doesn't do it for me. Though I will admit Jigsaw does make a super creepy villain.

Gosh I loved the book Where the Wild Things Are when I was a kid, and am definitely planning on seeing the movie either tonight or tomorrow.

When I was doing my daily blog reads and came across Jezebel's title The First Abortion Rom Com I needed to check it out.

Extremely delicate topic. Personal. Private. And little to find in the way of laughs. But apparently director Gillian Robespierre found a way to make a romantic comedy on the subject. Saturday Night Live's Jenny Slate -- aka the girl who dropped the F-bomb on SNL's premiere -- stars in the 20 minute short.
