Ever been thrown a very unexpected curve ball in life? I recently have and am so blessed to have such great friends and family supporting me, but I'm not surrounded by loved ones 24/7.

Congrats to HaisaiUrumaAnma for winning. Be sure to keep checking Daily Buzz for chances to win more prizes!
I kind of really want the Where the Wild Things Are soundtrack. The song in the commercial for the film is so catchy and it's Karen O from the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. I also don't have the last Kings of Leon album and wish I did. But my current favorite is Bonnie "Prince" Billy's Beware -- my babies love it, too.
Now that you know what I would buy if I won....

Even celebs are getting hit with the swine flu. Backstreet Boy Brian Littrell has been diagnosed with the H1N1 virus, and the band has had to cancel several promotional appearances in New York because of it.

Britney Spears's new single, "3" premiered this morning, and it's definitely provocative. You can listen to it on New York radio station Z100's Web Site.

I went to a U2 concert the other night and even though our seats were way, way, way, way up, it was amazing.

Muse makes a Twilight soundtrack repeat.

The full track listing for The Twilight Saga: New Moon official movie soundtrack was released this week. Glad to hear that Muse, one of author Stephenie Meyers' favorite bands and mine, too, made the cut again. Their sound seems to really lend to that overall "Twilight" feel.
Death Cab for Cutie's "Meet Me on the Equinox" is the title track. Oooh, can't wait for the release date Oct. 20, one month before the movie, and neither can my iPod. I can tell it's getting quite sick of me replaying the first Twilight soundtrack over and over because it inexplicably quit on me last night. Grrr.
Here's the lineup:

Last week, while briefly in NYC, I caught a matinee of Billy Elliot: The Musical on Broadway. I knew I loved the movie Billy Elliot, which my husband and I saw almost ten years ago before we had kids. However, what I didn't realize is that the story holds a deeply valuable lesson in parenting as well.

Have you heard the new single, Live Like We're Dying, from American Idol champ Kris Allen? Apparently Perez Hilton hates it, but I'm kinda liking it. You have to admit, it's ridiculousy catchy.
What do you think of the single? Will it be a hit?
