What are you having for Easter dessert? Carrot cake, strawberry shortcake, and bunny cakes are always popular and spring-y. Or, get the kids to help you decorate these cute Easter Basket Cupcakes with licorice and jelly beans.

Spring Cupcake Baskets from BettyCrocker.com

1 box yellow cake mix (plus oil, eggs, and water)

1 container frosting

Shoestring licorice

Jelly beans, pastel M&Ms, or other spherical candy (to resemble eggs)

Make and cool 24 cupcakes as directed on box. Cool. Frost. Decorate using licorice for basket handles and jelly beans (etc.) for eggs.

Cafe...

I'm going to try this!

I promised my kids that we'd make cupcakes today and decorate them with our Easter candy.  Now, I'm going to go out and get some licorice and turn our cupcakes into Easter baskets.  My kids will love this!  Thank you!!!  Robin

Happy Easter!
